Please welcome yet another Timber Doctor duo to our network – Justin and Jen. They will be managing The Timber Doctor Mid North Coast territory in NSW. We spoke to them about their reasons for joining The Timber Doctor and what they hoped to achieve with the business.Here’s what they had to say…
What was it that attracted you to join The Timber Doctor business?
The opportunity to run a well known reputable franchise, the opportunity to work for ourselves and the excitement of having a new challenge.
What did you do prior to becoming a Timber Doctor?
Justin was a caravan repairer/ sales which involved a wide variety of work from mechanical to electrical, plumbing and sheet metal work. I had a managerial role with a high level of customer service in the hospitality industry.
What territory will you manage?
We will operte the Mid north coast territory. From Foster (Central NSW) up to Yamba – covering areas from the east coast and inland, to Tamworth.
What do you hope to achieve during your time as a Timber Doctor?
Widening our knowledge on timber and repairs, running a successful business and building and maintaining relationships with clients.
What was it about The Timber Doctor franchise that appealed to you ?
Our love of timber and the benefits of having our own business. The opportunity for expansion into other avenues eg (stone repairs) is also appealing.
What advice would you give to someone looking to buy a Timber Doctor franchise?
Do your research!
Look at the longevity of the business and the level of support offered.
Be prepared to give it 100% of your time and focus.
Tell us something interesting about yourselves?
Justin loves to surf, fish go camping and just got his motorbike licence.
I (Jen) love the outdoors also and a long time ago I was trained in the art of teppan cooking.
Describe your ideal weekend?
An ideal weekend for us would be anything outdoors (weather permitting) and a nice seafood lunch near the water.
