New Leather Doctor – South Tasmania

Please welcome yet another new Leather Doctor to our network – Michael! He will be operating The Leather Doctor in South Tasmania. We spoke to him about his reasons for joining The Leather Doctor and what he hoped to achieve with the business.

Here’s what he had to say…

What was it that attracted you to join The Leather Doctor business?

I first saw an ad that flashed across my Facebook feed. I liked the clean imagery and it didn’t seem pretentious. I clicked the page just to see what it was all about. Scott, the sales manager, called me and the more I spoke to him the more I realised it was quite different to other franchises I’ve ever seen. I’m not typically attracted to franchises, however I feel The Leather Doctor is fair and will work with you.

What did you do prior to becoming a Leather Doctor?

My main trade is as an Oest Controller for 21 years. I have also worked as a semi professional musician.

What territory will you manage?

South Tasmania.

What do you hope to achieve during your time as a Leather Doctor?

I’d like to buy a house mostly in cash. I’d like to double the current turnover after purchasing from the previous owner.

What advice would you give to someone looking to buy a Leather Doctor franchise?

Do your due diligence and speak to other franchisees.

Describe your ideal weekend?

I love playing music and gigging. I have recorded much music and still have endeavours as such. My ideal weekend is camping with my family. With a guitar and a rod and no rain.
