New Leather Doctor – Mornington

Please welcome yet another new Leather Doctor to our network – Stan! He will be operating The Leather Doctor and Fabric Doctor Mornington territory in Victoria. We spoke to him about his reasons for joining The Leather Doctor and what he hoped to achieve with the business.

What was it that attracted you to join The Leather Doctor business?

I have long aspired to break free from corporate life and be my own boss. Looking into different franchisee opportunities, The Leather Doctor quickly became appealing for two reasons. One the nature of the work I find enjoyable whilst still challenging. And two, the support and training offered by the franchise and other Leather Doctors’ businesses.

What did you do prior to becoming a Leather Doctor?

My career path predominantly unfolded within the aviation sector where I worked in a variety of roles and countries. I started my career as an Air Traffic Controller for a substantial period. I eventually transitioned into senior corporate roles, culminating in my position as Sales & Marketing Director in Australia.

What territory will you manage?

Fortunate enough to have the beautiful Mornington Peninsula territory in Victoria.

What was it about the Leather Doctor franchise that appealed to you?

The Leather Doctor appealed more than other businesses as the people I know in the business spoke very highly of it, and it seemed like work I would enjoy.

What do you hope to achieve during your time as a Leather Doctor?

Certainly, achieving a healthier work-life balance is a priority. Moreover, I am excited to nurture and expand a thriving business while ensuring every client experiences an exceptional level of service satisfaction.

I have lived and worked in eight different cities in the world, across the UK, Singapore, South Africa, France and Australia.
