Here’s what he had to say…
What was it that attracted you to join The Leather Doctor business?
Being able to run my own business but with full support of a professional team, the information provided was open and transparent, which set The Leather Doctor apart from other franchises that I looked at. The excitement of being able to build a business without the concerns of additional fees, yet being supported to succeed, was a key attribute I was looking for.
What did you do prior to becoming a Leather Doctor?
I commenced my Career in the Royal Australian Navy as a young boy recruit, where I spent many exciting years travelling, learning, and growing as an individual. I later left the service and continued in my profession as a Workplace Health and Safety Professional in high-risk work environments within Australia and overseas.
What territory will you manage?
I have been fortunate to secure the Logan and Beaudesert territory that has had a significant presence by the company for many years and has grown a positive reputation, which I will continue to foster.
What do you hope to achieve during your time as a Leather Doctor?
I am going to grow the name of The Leather and Fabric Doctor to be the no.1 go-to for leather and fabric care, with an aim to increase the number of vans and professionals on the road to service the community efficiently.
What advice would you give to someone looking to buy a Leather Doctor franchise?
I searched a variety of franchise opportunities before deciding on The Leather Doctor, I would strongly recommend to any new potential franchisee to call existing operators and discuss the business and the model, understand the support that exists from other franchisees and the head office team and most importantly believe in yourself, you can achieve success using the provided systems and having the flexibility to run the business your way.
