Please welcome yet another new Leather Doctor to our team – Berni. She has taken over the Coomera territory in South East Queensland.
Berni is our first female franchisee and we are so excited to have her on board!
We spoke to Berni about her reasons for joining The Leather Doctor and what she hopes to achieve with the business. Here’s what she had to say…
What was it that attracted you to join The Leather Doctor business?
Being the Leather Doctor Warehouse Manager, I got to watch all the Leather Doctors in their glory – all loving their jobs, lifestyle and the challenges that their Leather Dr business bought them. I thought for a long while… ‘I really need to be a part of this team’.
What did you both do prior to becoming a Leather Doctor?
I have primarily been involved in Warehousing and Farming across different companies across Queensland.
What territory will you manage?
I’ll be managing The Leather Doctor Coomera territory which goes from Oxenford up to Yatala.
What do you hope to achieve during your time as a Leather Doctor?
Financial independence and becoming an expert in Leather Repair work.
What was it about The Leather Doctor franchise that appealed to you ?
I had never thought of buying a franchise in the past, but when I started to see more and understood the structure of the Leather Dr business and the work they did, I became interested in finding out more. It seemed like a great opportunity and I wanted to get involved.
What advice would you give to someone looking to purchase a franchise?
Ask questions and find out if it is the right fit for you.
Tell us something interesting about yourselves?
I’m really into astrology. Using my telescope to look at stars and the moon is something I really enjoy.
Describe your ideal weekend?
Camping and Fishing with my family and Friends.
